A three-year-old girl was critically injured after being hit by a car in Brooklyn. She ran into the street between parked cars while with her mother. The driver, a 43-year-old man, remained at the scene and was uninjured. The NYPD is investigating the incident. Separately, a woman died in another crash in Brooklyn when a driver lost control and crashed into a building. The deceased was identified as Pearle Davis, 76. No arrests have been made in either case, and fatal crashes in the city remain consistent with last year.
