NFC East Notes: Cowboys, Crosby, Commanders, Aiyuk, Eagles
"I don't anticipate, standing here right now, revisiting that situation. I don't anticipate it. Is it possible? Yes."
"Unless Dallas does a 180 on Crosby, its best hope to upgrade its pass rush could be via the draft."
The Cowboys made multiple offers for Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby but were unsuccessful. Crosby was traded to Baltimore, but the deal fell through after he failed a physical. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones does not expect to revisit the situation, although he acknowledges the possibility. Concerns over Crosby's surgically repaired meniscus were raised by the Cowboys' physician. The Cowboys may need to focus on the draft to improve their pass rush, holding two first-round picks.
