Lakers' Austin Reaves out for rest of regular season with oblique strain
""We want to get the third seed and we want to win a first-round series," Redick said."
""I know Luka's gonna do everything he can to get back on the court. We don't know what this recovery timetable looks like," Redick said."
""It probably is going to look a little bit differently with Luka being out," James said after practice."
Austin Reaves has a Grade 2 left oblique strain and will miss the rest of the regular season. Luka Doncic also has a Grade 2 left hamstring strain. Marcus Smart is questionable due to a right ankle contusion. Despite these injuries, Lakers coach JJ Redick stated the team's goal remains to secure the third seed and win a first-round series. LeBron James is expected to take on a larger role as the team adjusts to playing without Doncic.
