Patrick Mahomes is recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee. Coach Andy Reid expressed optimism about Mahomes' potential to start in September. Mahomes has been dedicated to his rehabilitation, spending significant time at the training facility. He has been working closely with athletic trainer Julie Frymyer to improve his knee's flexibility and strength. Mahomes recently shared a video of himself throwing the ball, indicating progress. Reid mentioned that if Mahomes continues to improve, he could play in preseason games.
