Trevor Bauer signs with Long Island Ducks for U.S. return
"I'm looking forward to competing in front of U.S. fans again this season. The Ducks have had some incredible players come through their organization, and I'm excited to be part of that tradition."
"Bauer was released by the Los Angeles Dodgers in January 2023 and the right-hander pitched in Japan last year. He signed a five-game contract with the Diablos Rojos of Mexico City last year before agreeing to stay for the reminder of the season."
Trevor Bauer has signed with the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League, marking his 15th professional season. He is set to pitch on opening night, April 21. Bauer will also be 'Mic'd Up' for games and practices to create content. After a 194-game suspension for violating MLB policies, he seeks to revive his career. Bauer previously pitched in Japan and was named the Mexican Baseball League's pitcher of the year last September after a stint with the Diablos Rojos of Mexico City.
