Johnny Eblen returned to the ring after losing his title, defeating Bryan Battle in just four minutes with a first-round submission. Eblen controlled the fight, repeatedly taking Battle to the ground and ultimately forcing him to tap with a face crank. Following his victory, Eblen called for a rematch against PFL champion Costello van Steenis, who handed Eblen his only career loss. Former champion Impa Kasanganay also won his fight, knocking out Dalton Rosta in the first round.
