Disturbing twist after sicko allegedly recorded families with spy cameras at rental mansion
"Christian Parmalee Edwards, 44, was found in possession of disturbing materials and was secretly recording guests who rented his Granite Butte Way property, according to the criminal complaint."
"Cops executed a search warrant last month, seizing 30 devices with at least 4,000 files of child sex abuse material, including a life-like child doll designed for sexual use."
""This showcases the escalation in behaviors from viewing digital images to filming to physical behaviors," said Kart Woertman, a director at the sheriff's office."
""We didn't even know we were in danger," said Anthony Polfer, who lives down the street from the property."
Christian Parmalee Edwards, 44, was charged with possession of child sexual abuse material and secretly recording guests at his vacation rental in Oakhurst, California. His bail was set at $75,000. Police discovered he filmed guests, including women and children, and seized 30 devices containing over 4,000 files of child sex abuse material. A life-like child doll designed for sexual use was also found. Neighbors expressed concern, unaware of the danger posed by Edwards, who had listed his property for rental in July 2025.
