Daniel Turcios Torres, 46, received a sentence of 36 to 45 years in prison for raping a young relative hundreds of times. The victim reported the assaults to police in July 2024, detailing incidents of indecent touching and rape. She was 12 when she began living with Torres after moving from Ecuador. He intimidated her into silence and forced her to take birth control. Family members witnessed inappropriate behavior but did not intervene. Torres was charged with multiple counts of rape and indecent assault.
