The Family Astronomy Series at Chabot Space & Science Center invites families with children aged 6-12 to explore astronomy. Each program features a presentation in the Planetarium, hands-on activities, and complimentary hot cocoa and snacks. Participants will learn about the electromagnetic spectrum and how astronomers use various forms of light to uncover cosmic wonders. The evening includes telescope viewing at the Observatory, weather permitting, and encourages families to observe the universe with their own eyes.
