U.S. Soccer just dropped its new USMNT team kits this week ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and they're instant classics. If you expected the usual home whites and away reds or blues, hold on. This time around they went for it. We are given two kits, two distinct personalities, and a design process that actually involved the players who'll be wearing them.
The safari jacket owes much of its makeup to this lighter-weight cousin. Safari jackets were worn by troops in all the warm-weather colonial trips made by the turn of the (20th) century European powers.
Tarvas started out about as far from that as possible, in a small basement workshop in Helsinki, Finland. It was there that the founders tinkered with prototypes until, in 2017, they were ready to launch a line of footwear that blended outdoors functionality with streamlined Nordic design.
CFGNY is having a big spring. The self-proclaimed 'vaguely Asian' art and fashion collective is in a group exhibition about the production and representation of Asian fashion at Pioneer Works, transforming the third floor into a cardboard-lined shipping container filled with studio portraits shot in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, a growing fashion hub.
The language of blue-collar fathers isn't spoken-it's lived. It's written in grease-stained paychecks, in Saturday mornings spent under the sink, in showing up to work sick because the mortgage doesn't care if you have the flu. After forty years in the trades and raising my own kids, I finally decoded what my father and countless men like him were really communicating through their actions.
But this week I spotted an ingenious use for the extras, courtesy of NY-based company Proche Studio. Here's their proposal: Mail in a wool blanket, and they'll give it new life in the form of a great-looking-and uber snug-chore coat, vest, or scarf. I'm particularly smitten by the chore coat, a fresh version of the quilt coats that became popular a couple of years ago, and much, much warmer.
Featuring a washed-denim effect, scattered white stars and sharp red detailing at the collar and sleeves, the adidas U.S. Denim Jersey blends 90s-inspired aesthetics with modern streetwear influence. The jersey preserves a bold visual language from the 90s, now engineered in lightweight performance fabric to elevate comfort, movement and versatility for today's athlete and fan.
My first pair of Hunter rain boots actually came from my grandmother, who has an incredibly sharp eye for great shoes (and zero patience for flimsy ones). When I was a teenager, she bought me a pair of tall Hunters in a glossy light silver. They were practical, of course, but also strangely cool-metallic enough to feel a little dramatic, subtle enough to still work with everything in my wardrobe.
It's easier than ever to buy a suit. Mall mainstays like J.Crew make very good ones in a range of fits, with a seasonally rotating selection of new and interesting cloths. Affordable specialists like Suitsupply and Spier & Mackay offer impressive quality while pricing everything from two-button jackets to full-fledged tuxedos for far less than it seems they should be able to.
Beneath a dome that once watched over the French Communist Party's debates in the 1970s, a large self-illuminating dinner table is prepared. Its oval shape stands in the middle of a room noisy with conversation and Object Blue's elegant, beat-driven dinner soundtrack. Guests like Gabbriette, Cruz Beckham, Paloma Elsesser, Damson Idris, ASAP Nast and Pusha T gather under a DayGlo hanging light box. The setting looks, not at all accidentally, like Kubrick's vision of a war room in Dr. Strangelove. And it is a party.
Wax London is here to get us all outdoors this spring with its new-season collection 'The Outside is On'. Keeping the brand's balance of timelessness, craft and wearability, the new collection is a celebration of the optimism of spring - and yes, that means colour.
Millennials, welcome to your mom jeans era. I don't mean that you're obligated to wear the jeans you made fun of your own mother for wearing 20 years ago. Those are actually cool now! The uncool fit is those skinny jeans you practically slept in during the 2010s. Oh, and Gen Z, before you laugh, that combo of loose-leg light-denim jeans and white sneakers you love will date you soon enough.

Fashion has a habit of building legend, and in the modern era, few brands are more revered by menswear fanatics than Double RL, often styled as RRL. Originally born out of Ralph Lauren's fascination with westernwear (the line is named after the designer's expansive Colorado ranch), the offshoot of Lauren's eponymous brand marked a significant divergence from the traditional tailored prep of the main line when it debuted in 1993.
Choosing a particular model does not necessarily mean focusing on excessive colour, but rather knowing how to identify the lines and volumes that communicate a precise aesthetic vision that breaks with convention. This process requires a certain awareness of materials and proportions, as a shoe with a strong design has the ability to transform even the simplest outfit into a sophisticated and modern style statement.

Our all-time favorite shirt jacket Pros The best unstructured fit Durable Cons An investment Alex Mill's work jacket is one of our most beloved, and we're counting it as a shirt jacket. Why shouldn't we? It's made with garment-dyed denim, the chore coat's signature front pockets and all the swag in the world. It's an excellent replacement for a blazer in a more-casual-than-business work environment. And we would knowit's an Esquire editor favorite.
The Rural Cut places vintage fashion in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, among vineyards, open fields, and the animals that inhabit the land. As a Beirut-based stylist, I worked with a fully Lebanese team to create a shoot that feels authentic, where each garment and every frame reflects the textures, history, and rhythm of the rural landscape. What I'm doing here is giving you fashion options. What boots should a man, a man who takes some amount of pride in how he looks, own? And sorry to be one note, but I'm also going to tell you to avoid the "trends" here. We're in a vacuum of trends at the moment. I've talked about this in other stories, and I try to avoid talking about it at parties
