West Bromwich Albion's recent wins against Hull City and Bristol City have provided a glimmer of hope, but the team remains firmly in the relegation battle as they face tough fixtures ahead.
Nineteen-year-old Rayan left Vasco da Gama in Brazil's top flight, where he played just shy of 100 times scoring 25 goals, for the Vitality Stadium in an initial 25 million transfer. He's the son of former Vasco defender, Valkmar, who played for the club during their late-1990s peak.
The Cherries have paid a reported fee of £24.7million to bring the winger to the Vitality Stadium from Vasco da Gama. Rayan, 19, sparkled last year with Vasco, scoring 20 goals in 57 games in all competitions, while he has also performed well for Brazil's youth teams. Bournemouth hope he can replace Semenyo, who joined Manchester City earlier this month for £64m.
