Though Tattle TV - a UK-based streaming platform created by filmmakers Philip McGoldrick and Marina Elderton - features a reality dating series about dog-owners and a modern drama about a female MMA fighter, the company's latest debut is a vertically-oriented edit of Alfred Hitchcock's silent film The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog. Similar to other microdrama apps, Tattle TV splits all of its content into short segments that can be purchased individually using an in-app currency (Tattle Coins).

Through the atmospheric lens of New York-based photographer Geordie Wood, a short film called " Divers " glimpses a day in the life of an elite high-diving camp. A moody yet bright setting evokes the way sun still glares when tucked behind clouds or glints off the surface water, and individuals are alternately silhouetted and spotlit by its glow. With cinematography by Adam Golfer and editing by Luke Lorentzen,

"I don't trust my imagination very much, so I often create works based on things I've actually experienced," says Hewa. "I want to animate those indescribable states where all sorts of emotions get mixed up together." In these micro-animations (that do well on social media, both because of their quick runtimes and windows into varyingly haunted and serene worlds), Hewa animates women dreaming of other realities, dinner guests locked into a perpetual state of laughing and empty streets lined with crooked houses.
