"Athletes who screen negative for the SRY gene permanently satisfy this policy's eligibility criteria for competition in the female category. Unless there is reason to believe that a negative reading is in error, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime test."
The main change from the previous policy is that the WPBSA considers snooker to be a 'gender-affected activity' for the purposes of Section 195 The Equality Act 2010 and that only biological female players may compete in women's tournaments governed by the WPBSA.

Most of those sliders will almost certainly be women of color. By the time the Games open, this could be the most diverse U.S. Olympic winter roster ever assembled.
