Ament has missed the past two games with a leg injury that he suffered against Alabama on Feb. 28. He is listed as questionable on the SEC availability report. According to a source, there is no certainty in how much he will play against Auburn, but there is an expectation that he will play.

Henderson arrives with elite production against top Texas competition and a feel for the game that can't be coached. With Conner Weigman returning, Henderson doesn't need to be "the guy" on Day 1, but he's too talented to keep off the field. Expect Henderson to be involved in situational packages, red zone wrinkles and some possible momentum-swing snaps.

He completed 66.4% of his passes for 3,660 yards with 21 touchdowns and 3 interceptions this season.

The Ole Miss Rebels (17-4) will host the Vanderbilt Commodores (20-1) after winning three home games in a row. Ole Miss was victorious in its previous game versus Missouri, 82-61, on Thursday. Cotie McMahon was its high scorer with 33 points. In its previous game, Vanderbilt lost to South Carolina on Sunday, 103-74. Its leading scorer was Mikayla Blakes with 23 points.
