The song possesses a driving and straightforward set of verses, a wide open and gothic chorus, and a sudden 6/8 groove for the solos that feels right out of those classic King Diamond albums.

The Ramones' first, self-titled album was released on April 23, 1976. It was recorded over seven days on the eighth floor of New York's Radio City Music Hall and cost $6,400 at the time—an almost laughably small amount compared with the big budgets common in the record industry then. Even so, it is considered one of the most influential albums in the history of popular music.

I realize that's a sacred role that should only ever be filled if Geddy and Alex choose for it to be so. And sure enough, here we are with them choosing to finally do so, which has been really incredible.
Dee Snider has quit Twisted Sister ahead of the band's 50th-anniversary tour, a decision he says was fueled by health issues and not wanting to perform at a level he isn't proud of for fans. "I don't know of any other way to rock," he said in a statement. "The idea of slowing down is unacceptable to me. I'd rather walk away than be a shadow of my former self."
There isn't one songwriter, and so the flavour of the band is always going to change, says Dave Vanian, reflecting on 50 years of the group of which he has been the sole constant member, the Damned.
