The official posters on Weibo confirm an 8.8-inch display with a 3040 x 1904px resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 2640Hz touch sampling rate for faster response during gaming, 800 nits maximum brightness, and 12-bit color depth. This will likely be the same display as last year's model. And even though the poster doesn't say anything about the display technology, it's probably safe to assume it's going to be LCD as the Weibo tipster confirmed as much.

The RedMagic 11 Air is coming soon, and today on Weibo more of its specs have been revealed. The phone allegedly comes with a 6.85-inch screen, the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, up to 24GB of RAM, and a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging. It measures 163.82 x 76.54 x 7.85mm and weighs 207g. It has an active cooling fan built-in, and an under-display selfie camera too.

Leaked images of the device show it attached to both a keyboard and controllers, with a hinge in the middle of the POLED display, allowing it to unfold from 7.7 inches to 11.6 inches. Users can attach the controllers with the display folded or unfolded, use the display in a vertical split screen mode, or attach it to the keyboard for laptop mode, for a total of four different form factors rolled into one device.

Lenovo has brought a slew of updates to its Legion and LOQ line of gaming laptops for CES 2026. The refreshed laptops are all built around Nvidia RTX 50-series GPUs. The new Legion 7a is both thinner and lighter than the previous generation and is aimed at gamers, creators, and working professionals. Lenovo says the new 7a will be powered by AMD Ryzen AI 400 CPUs and RTX 50-series GPUs, delivering up to 125W of total system power.

They won't have an Nvidia graphics chip next to an Intel CPU, but rather an Nvidia N1 system-on-chip at the helm - and overnight, a Lenovo leak revealed that the company has built six laptops on the upcoming N1 and N1X processors, including a 15-inch gaming machine. Dataminer Huang514613 posted those names to X, including 14 and 16-inch models of the Ideapad Slim 5, two variants of the 15-inch Yoga Pro 7, and a Yoga 9 transforming 2-in-1.

The Lenovo Legion Go 2 is getting a SteamOS version, four months after the Windows-powered handheld was introduced at IFA Berlin. At CES 2026 on Tuesday, Lenovo unveiled a SteamOS variant of its second-generation gaming handheld. The device carries the same hardware specifications as the Windows-based Legion Go 2, except it runs Valve's SteamOS. Lenovo said that the new variant is expected to be available from June 2026.

Acer made a big splash at CES 2025 with the announcement of its surfboard-sized Nitro Blaze 11 gaming handheld, but its targeted second-quarter release came and went long ago. There's been no word of the chunky 11-inch Blaze or its smaller siblings.

This year's CES might finally be the time when gaming laptops and accessories start to look different because of AI and connectivity, not just because of higher model numbers. Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, NVIDIA RTX 50-series GPUs, and Wi-Fi 7 are all arriving at once, and the question for gamers is less "how fast is the GPU?" and more "how does the whole setup feel when you sit down to play or stream?"

According to IGN and TechCrunch, sources say Intel is going to compete by developing a custom Intel Core G3 "variant or variants" just for handhelds that could outperform the Arc B390 GPU on the chips it just announced. IGN reports that by using the new 18A process, Intel can cut different die slices, and "spec the chips to offer better performance on the GPU where you want it."
