The Los Angeles Rams are promoting pass game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase to offensive coordinator and making quarterbacks coach Dave Ragone their co-offensive coordinator/QB coach, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Friday. Scheelhaase remained with the Rams after interviewing for five head coaching jobs during the offseason. The Rams had the top offense in the NFL last season and are bringing back quarterback Matthew Stafford, who announced when he accepted the NFL MVP Award that he would return for 2026.

"As we make history with the NFL and bring the first regular season game to Australia, we are pleased to take our annual matchup against our NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers to the MCG," said Rams president Kevin Demoff in a statement. "Since we first secured marketing rights to the country in 2021 and more recently since the announcement of this game last year, we have seen tremendous excitement for our team from fans both in Australia and also across the world.

I did not like the feel for the flow of the game that I had outside of the first series, where our guys did a great job. Defensively, it kept us in it in spite of how poor of a job I did for our group. But like I said, I'm really grateful for this group being able to find a way, stick with it and be able to overcome some bad coaching by me tonight.
