Yesterday, Game Freak announced Mega Zeraora will be one of the new Mega Evolutions coming in Mega Dimension DLC. It's one of the few "cool" Mega designs in the RPG, which has otherwise leaned pretty heavily into silly and exaggerated designs with monsters like and Feraligatr . I like a silly Mega as much as the next guy, but it's nice to have some that don't look like jokes, as well.

the trading card game has opted to return to Mega Evolutions, perfectly in time with the giant monsters' resurgence in the forthcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The first new set, out today in the U.S., is aptly and simply called Mega Evolution, and based on opening a few dozen packs, I'm delighted to report that a newfound generosity seems to have arrived.

The Pokemon Company revealed a new Mega Evolved Pokemon card, Mega Charizard X EX, featuring 360HP and the move Inferno X, which allows damage multiplification through discarded fire energy cards.
