The Toronto Blue Jays are evaluating their closer role, questioning Jeff Hoffman's consistency despite his previous success.
You would have to think the receiver situation is probably the most disappointing. Obviously, you go hard after Alec Pierce, and it was no secret that his preference was to go back to the Indianapolis. Pivoting to Romeo Doubs, taking a swing and missing there.
"I'm pretty insulated from a lot of stuff that's out there. The stuff that I do see or hear, I don't really care anyway because it doesn't have anything to do with the play. I'm just thinking about getting back to execution and executing my pitches."
St. John Bosco, with a record of 11-3, has shown strong performance, particularly from pitcher Julian Garcia, who is back in dominant form after injury. This has solidified their position at the top of the rankings.
I think it was good. Came up, obviously a young guy, didn't really know what to expect. Obviously struggled at the start.
