HP's Omen Max 45L desktop features innovative cooling and appealing design, making it a strong contender in the mid-sized gaming tower market.
The XPS 16 now weighs just 3.65 pounds (or 3.85 if you opt for the heavier LCD display), which is almost a full pound lighter than its predecessor (4.56 pounds). That's a massive drop and it makes this system closer in heft to a 15-inch MacBook Air (3.3 pounds) than a 16-inch MacBook Pro (4.7 pounds), despite the latter being XPS's usual rival.
The official posters on Weibo confirm an 8.8-inch display with a 3040 x 1904px resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 2640Hz touch sampling rate for faster response during gaming, 800 nits maximum brightness, and 12-bit color depth. This will likely be the same display as last year's model. And even though the poster doesn't say anything about the display technology, it's probably safe to assume it's going to be LCD as the Weibo tipster confirmed as much.
As expected, RedMagic 11 Air made its debut in China earlier today as a bridge between the thin and light phone trend and gaming phones. It arrives with the signature transparent design, an active cooling fan with RGB lighting and last year's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Like previous entries in the RedMagic lineup, the 11 Air gets an unobstructed AMOLED display with a 16MP under-display selfie camera and an optical fingerprint scanner.
nubia's upcoming slim yet powerful RedMagic 11 Air will feature a 6.85-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will also offer a 95.1% screen-to-body ratio, an under-display selfie camera, 2,592Hz PWM dimming, and 1.25mm thin bezels. The handset features a curved rear transparent panel with an RGB logo and a triple camera setup. The phone will be offered in Aurora Silver, Stardust White, and Quantum Black.
Leaked images of the device show it attached to both a keyboard and controllers, with a hinge in the middle of the POLED display, allowing it to unfold from 7.7 inches to 11.6 inches. Users can attach the controllers with the display folded or unfolded, use the display in a vertical split screen mode, or attach it to the keyboard for laptop mode, for a total of four different form factors rolled into one device.
Lenovo has brought a slew of updates to its Legion and LOQ line of gaming laptops for CES 2026. The refreshed laptops are all built around Nvidia RTX 50-series GPUs. The new Legion 7a is both thinner and lighter than the previous generation and is aimed at gamers, creators, and working professionals. Lenovo says the new 7a will be powered by AMD Ryzen AI 400 CPUs and RTX 50-series GPUs, delivering up to 125W of total system power.
The 2.9-pound Prestige 14 Flip AI+ looks a little bit like everything: there's MacBook resemblance to be sure (what laptop on the market hasn't taken inspiration from Cupertino?) but you might also mistake it for a Lenovo Yoga, with the rounded edges and dual hinge design. The Flip 14 AI+ is the 2-in-1 convertible model, with a touchscreen OLED display and space for a stylus built into the bottom of the chassis that snaps firmly (!) in place.
The new Prestige AI+ series is the brand's flagship ultraportable line, available in a 13-,14-, and 16-inch clamshell or 2-in-1 convertible in the latter two sizes. They feature the new Intel Core Ultra Series 3 "Panther Lake" processors, have standard OLED displays, and showcase MSI's take on the pro-minded ultraportable with minimalist forms.
There's no shortage of handheld gaming PCs to choose from lately, but the Steam Deck has been a popular option thanks in part to its operating system. SteamOS works far better than Windows on these machines, and fortunately, it's available on another device: Lenovo's Legion Go 2. The company recently rolled out the Legion Go S with SteamOS, but for anyone looking for a handheld with more heavy-duty hardware--and Switch-like controllers--the Legion Go 2 has been a solid option.
There aren't any surprises here. It's the same Lenovo Legion Go 2 hardware, with SteamOS replacing the sometimes-awkward Windows. In many ways, you could view the SteamOS Legion Go 2 as a more powerful and versatile (and expensive!) Steam Deck. One notable exception is the optimizations game developers often make for Valve's handheld. (Ditto for "Steam Deck Verified" badges on store listings to learn quickly how playable games.)
A keyboard is more than the sum of its parts. To have a truly great typing experience, a lot has to come together-each aspect of a keyboard needs to be designed (or selected) with the rest of it in mind. But not every keyboard needs to strive for a great typing experience. Sometimes, they just need to get the job done. Take, for example, the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro.
The Lenovo Legion Go 2 is getting a SteamOS version, four months after the Windows-powered handheld was introduced at IFA Berlin. At CES 2026 on Tuesday, Lenovo unveiled a SteamOS variant of its second-generation gaming handheld. The device carries the same hardware specifications as the Windows-based Legion Go 2, except it runs Valve's SteamOS. Lenovo said that the new variant is expected to be available from June 2026.
This year's CES might finally be the time when gaming laptops and accessories start to look different because of AI and connectivity, not just because of higher model numbers. Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, NVIDIA RTX 50-series GPUs, and Wi-Fi 7 are all arriving at once, and the question for gamers is less "how fast is the GPU?" and more "how does the whole setup feel when you sit down to play or stream?"
We have seen quite a number of laptops bearing mind-blowing flexible screens that fold or roll, and while they do help push the envelope of laptop design, they might be the future, but it is definitely not yet here. Foldables still scratch easily and are expensive, rollables are at a concept stage, and both rely on technology that is impressive in a demo booth but nerve-wracking when you actually need to get work done and cannot afford downtime or repair bills.
When I go for a laptop, I typically prefer those in the 13- to 14-inch range. Every once in a while, however, I test a 16-inch laptop that makes me rethink my stance on size. Such was the case with the Geekom Geekbook X16 Pro . Although it might look a bit on the generic side, it's actually far nicer than its appearance would imply.
They won't have an Nvidia graphics chip next to an Intel CPU, but rather an Nvidia N1 system-on-chip at the helm - and overnight, a Lenovo leak revealed that the company has built six laptops on the upcoming N1 and N1X processors, including a 15-inch gaming machine. Dataminer Huang514613 posted those names to X, including 14 and 16-inch models of the Ideapad Slim 5, two variants of the 15-inch Yoga Pro 7, and a Yoga 9 transforming 2-in-1.
Like all nice things, the best gaming PCs on the market can cost a pretty penny, but that's not the case today. Amazon just dropped the 2025 ASUS TUF T500 PC by 11% which brings its $900 price to $800 - an impressive $100 discount. There are no complicated coupon codes to enter or long checkout steps to worry about, either. Just add the PC to your cart, and the discount applies automatically.
