At leading prediction market Kalshi, more than $47 million has been staked this season on what are known as NFL announcer mention markets, where users trade on the probability of what the play-by-play broadcaster or color analyst will -- or will not -- say during games. Since September, the average amount risked on NFL announcer mention markets has grown more than seven times, from less than half a million per game at the start of the season to $3.55 million on the AFC and NFC championship games
A big reason the New England Patriots find themselves set to play the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX is the success of their pass rush, which leads the NFL in postseason sacks. Outside linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson has been helping spearhead the defensive unit in that department during the playoffs, with a team-high three sacks and 14 quarterback pressures, the second-highest total league wide.
"It didn't matter if it was March, March was really important because March led to April," he added. "April was really important because it led to May and so-forth all the way up to the start of the season, all the way up to the final games of the season to prepare us for the playoffs and then if we were fortunate enough to make it to the last game, we were so prepared because every day was important."

The New England Patriots got good news on that front when it comes to Drake Maye's banged-up throwing shoulder. Lindsay Jones reported that Maye not only practiced in full on Wednesday, but took every first-team rep. That's a good sign that Maye, after taking most of last week off, will be about as close to 100 percent as possible entering his 21st game of the season.
"At that point, the ball is in the air, I was playing off so I was able to see it pretty early, which doesn't happen too much," Gonzalez said. "Most of the time I'm always in press [coverage], but I was off and saw the ball and at that point it's like I'm playing receiver again. So, just find the ball, go up and get it at the highest point, secure it, and bring it down."

More specifically, Boutte boldly poked at the Texans' secondary, which is arguably the best in the league. He said he was eager to face them, namely All-Pro cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. Time after time, Stingley and Co. have made those who dare to challenge them look foolish throughout the 2025 campaign. No team allowed fewer yards per contest than the Texans this season, and only the Seattle Seahawks finished ahead of them in scoring.
