After over 45 years of daily service, Golden Gate Transit will be massively cutting service to Marin County's southernmost Highway 101 bus pad stops effective April 12, as part of the inter-agency MASCOTS plan that overhauls public transit in Marin and Sonoma counties.

Through Community Facilities Districts (CFD), Municipal Utility Districts (MUD), Public Improvement Districts (PID), Community Development Districts (CDD) and reimbursement districts (RD), builders can potentially shift infrastructure costs off their balance sheets and onto special districts that homebuyers ultimately absorb through property taxes without potentially adding debt to the builder's books.

Panama Ports Company (PPC), part of the Hong Kong conglomerate CK Hutchison, said the Panamanian government acted in disregard for the rule of law. It decried what it called the latest steps to invade and take the property of PPC during a search on Thursday. It also accused authorities of entering a private storage site without notice and ignoring requests to safeguard sensitive corporate data.

When routes are well organized, there are clear directional signs, and speed limits become reasonable. The plans would affect an area known as Royal Victoria Dock West, which is the end closest to London City Hall and the Cable Car. If carried out, the two biggest changes will be a range of floating walkways reaching into the dock, lined with water plants. The other change will be the introduction of walkways on the south side of the dock for long-term residential boat moorings.

The next phase of the council's wide-ranging transport plan for the city centre is due to come into effect over the course of the year. A major focus will be on cycling infrastructure, with Dublin City Council (DCC) planning to begin construction on 13 new active travel projects by the end of the year. These include the final section of the Dodder Greenway from Milltown Road to Dundrum Road, on which works will begin in the summer,

COLUMBIA STREET WATERFRONT DISTRICT - The City Club of New York trustee Tom Fox introduced on Tuesday a new to redevelop the 122-acre "all-maritime" proposal Brooklyn Marine Terminal situated on an industrial waterfront site stretching from Atlantic Avenue to Red Hook on the East River. Fox, co-founder of New York Water Taxi, the precursor to NYC Ferry Service, has numerous civic credits to his name, including spearheading the creation of the Brooklyn-Queens Greenway and co-founding the original Brooklyn Bridge Park Coalition.

RED HOOK - A SPECIAL EXHIBITION - "Brooklyn Marine Terminal: Past, Present, & What's Next for Red Hook?" - will hold its opening Friday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Compere Collective, 351 Van Brunt St. in Red Hook. The display, hosted by Resilient Red Hook in collaboration with Pratt Institute's School of Architecture, features student work that explores alternative visions for the BMT, bringing academic insight, community priorities and design innovation together.
