Owners would then have to approve Durban as the new controlling owner, per league rules.

The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to hire Mike McCoy as the assistant head coach under Klint Kubiak, sources told ESPN. McCoy was recently an offensive assistant turned interim head coach for the Tennessee Titans after the team fired Brian Callahan in October. McCoy brings a ton of experience to the first-time head coach Kubiak's staff. He spent four seasons as the Los Angeles Chargers' head coach (2013-2016).
The Las Vegas Raiders are promoting run game coordinator/defensive line coach Rob Leonard to defensive coordinator, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Leonard worked closely last season with Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby, whose future in Las Vegas remains uncertain. Leonard joined the Raiders in 2023 after spending one season as the Baltimore Ravens outside linebackers coach. Prior to Baltimore, Leonard spent three years (2019-21) with the Miami Dolphins, where he held multiple positions during his tenure.

Janocko once again will reunite with Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak, who he worked with in New Orleans and Seattle. The Raiders went 3-14 this past season, then fired first-year coach Pete Carroll.
Now the question is where the Raiders head next under the direction of owner Mark Davis, minority owner Tom Brady and general manager John Spytek. Davis said in a statement that Spytek would work with Brady to find the next coach. Together, they will guide football decisions with a shared focus on leadership, culture, and alignment with the organization's long-term vision and goals, Davis said.
Former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel is expected to become the Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator barring a change of heart, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington on Tuesday night. McDaniel has informed other teams that they are out of the running for his services and he is meeting with the Chargers Tuesday night, sources said. McDaniel will replace Greg Roman, who was fired as offensive coordinator two days after the Chargers' 16-3 playoff loss to the New England Patriots.
Hours after we learned of his preseason extension, Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero received requests to interview for head coach positions with the Raiders ( per ESPN's Adam Schefter) and Falcons ( per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero). Evero has received some head coaching interest in two of the past three offseasons, but this is the first we've seen of his name in this year's cycle.
