Chelsea is set to sign Argentine midfielder Valentin Barco, with a contractual agreement already in place for the upcoming season.
"He brings a lot to the table, is carefree, has a playful wit. I'm always of the opinion that it should be based on performance - no matter if someone's 17, 18 or 25. It should also be based on character: Does he fit into the team? In that case, age doesn't matter."
Yes, he will do the same thing that he does on the pitch, he shows it in training every day. If they know how to pray? They better! We have great players too who we can perhaps spread out and not play 1 vs 1 because he is so decisive. We have the tool to try and counteract him.
Although it is a great honor and appreciation of my athletic performance, I have consciously decided against the matches with the Peruvian national team. My focus is clearly on supporting my club and the team as best as possible during a challenging phase of the season.
Fulham have now returned to finalise a move for the United States international, who is expected to sign a contract until 2031 at Craven Cottage. Pepi would join the Cottagers in the summer, with striker Raul Jimenez out of contract at the end of the season.
Gabriele Borsa was initially not called up for the game but was asked to play at the last minute due to another injury within the camp. He started the game and scored a hat-trick, showcasing his talent and leaving a lasting impression.
The Premier League is the Premier League and you never know what you're going to get. We have seen it so many times. It comes down to the clubs, the fees, whether it's a gamble, whether it's not a gamble. The proof is in the puddin
Pepi was on a good run, had a strong training camp and was all the way back, Bosz said. He became more confident in rounding and was in that good flow again. All signs were green for a strong second half of the season, so this is incredibly disappointing. First and foremost for him and obviously for us as well.
United States striker Ricardo Pepi suffered a broken forearm while in action for PSV Eindhoven on Saturday and and is set to be sidelined for two months, the Dutch club announced. Pepi, 23, suffered the injury while scoring PSV's second goal midway through the first half of their 5-1 win over Excelsior in the Dutch Eredivisie. PSV confirmed the injury after Pepi was taken to hospital, saying that he would undergo surgery on Sunday.
