Owl's Head has officially joined the Indy Pass, a fantastic news for Townships locals and travelers alike. It remains fiercely independent since Fred Korman opened it in 1965 with just three lifts.

The ski area had several events scheduled to celebrate the end of the season, but poor conditions have unfortunately forced a change of plans.

This season asked a lot from all of us. With the warmest winter and lowest snowpack on record, there were real challenges. But what stands out the most isn't that. It's the strength of this community and the spirit of this team.

Buttermilk's season came to an end after months of welcoming beginners, park riders, and world-class athletes alike, described as 'our smallest mountain in size, but biggest in heart.'

We are proud to announce that we will be writing the eighth and final chapter of the epic, ten year Snowboy x Sunshine Village collaboration with Dusk of The Village. Banff Sunshine describes the event as both a celebration of snowboarding and a showcase of community, with riders invited to test the course alongside some of the strongest freestyle talent in Western Canada.

Pushing limits drives snowboarding, but protection has to keep pace. Athlete safety has always been personal to me. At The Snow League, we're always looking for ways to better support athletes at the highest level. Piloting Crash Patch was one way we encouraged our athletes to make smart decisions in the moment.

Mt. Baker is the PNW's snow vacuum. It's close enough to the Pacific to get storm after storm, and the North Cascades do what they do best: force moist air straight up, wring it out, and bury everything in sight. Maritime storms roll in wet and heavy, then pile up fast when they hit terrain.

President's Day Weekend delivered much-needed snow to eager thrill seekers in Silverton, Colorado. My commute was outstanding, as per usual for the infamous Red Mountain Pass. Amazingly, the preceding day, nearly a foot of snow fell on the surrounding San Juan Mountains, then making way to bluebird Colorado skies. The stage was set for an adrenaline-packed weekend of skijoring in Silverton, free admission no less.

Conditions ReportAspen, Colorado, most famously known for hosting the annual Winter X-Games competition, is home to four different mountains that all make for excellent and unique skiing and snowboarding experiences. In the midst of an eerily dry Colorado winter, Aspen has the most skiable terrain in Colorado right now, with several thousands of acres open for riding across all skill levels.
