"As we wrap up the season, I want to thank our loyal guests who showed up smiling day in and day out to support their local hill. I also want to thank our dedicated staff whose immense efforts and pride in their work kept Eldora running all season long. "We're always glad to welcome winter back, and this latest round of snow has ensured there are still great turns to be had as our spring season continues. Rose Ski Tahoe

President's Day Weekend delivered much-needed snow to eager thrill seekers in Silverton, Colorado. My commute was outstanding, as per usual for the infamous Red Mountain Pass. Amazingly, the preceding day, nearly a foot of snow fell on the surrounding San Juan Mountains, then making way to bluebird Colorado skies. The stage was set for an adrenaline-packed weekend of skijoring in Silverton, free admission no less.
