Abstract Lounge brings a calm musical atmosphere into the Golden Gate Valley Branch Library's main reading area. Patrons are encouraged to read, work, browse the collection or become absorbed in contemplation while enjoying a mind-expanding flow of sound.
The clues, presented in three photo slides designed by illustrator Halsey Berryman, feature a slew of images: the cross-section of a tree trunk, red dice, dumplings - or bao - and chopsticks, a rodent, red blooming flowers, banana slugs, a white cowboy hat, and a mallard, just to name a few.
