Both are one-night-in-hell slashers about two estranged sisters forced to fight their way out of a lair of rich people who've joined a devil cult and are hellbent on sacrificing them to their dark lord. They even debut one week after another, the latter on March 20, the former on March 27.
The titular 'boosters' refers to a group of modern-day Robin Hoods who steal from department stores and resell the clothing on the cheap. Led by Corvette (Keke Palmer), the 'Velvet Gang' specifically targets Metro Designer stores, a chain helmed by scientist-turned-fashion maven Christie Smith, played with a zealous ferver by Demi Moore.
Since his time at the site, Goldman has taken on a number of very cool jobs (including one that helped bring Jamie Lee Curtis into his orbit, more on that one to come), but he has long been dedicated to pursuing his primary passion: filmmaking. He's directed seven shorts and written eight of them, and this weekend, he will premiere his first feature at SXSW, 'Sender.'

Good Boy is a novel concept in the haunted-house genre - it's told entirely from the point of view of a dog, and it's got a surprisingly moving twist in its tail, sorry, tale. Co-written and directed by Ben Leonberg, who is also star pup Indy's owner in real life, it tells the story of Todd (Shane Jensen), a man suffering with an unnamed serious illness, who takes his dog to live with him in his late grandfather's old house in the country.
