I can't tell you what changed in between each Oscars ceremony, but I certainly wouldn't mind if 2026 continued to rock these awards presentations by awarding Michael B. Jordan for getting it on with a vampire in Sinners.

To succeed in the long term, any business needs to refresh itself continually with new talent and new ideas. The Food Network is no exception. Some chefs and hosts might move on for reasons of their own.

When Disney announced a TV show all about Cassian Andor from I remember barely caring at all. "Cool, I guess that dude from gets a show, too." Then I watched Season 1 in 2022 and was completely enthralled by its depiction of rebellion and fascism. This year's season two was even better, featuring more moments than I can count that made me sit up in my chair, hold my breath, and wait for the next scene or piece of dialogue

Storylines about abortion and conversations about it showed up on television 65 times this year, on prestigious dramas like The Pitt and Call the Midwife, on reality shows such as W.A.G.s to Riches and Love is Blind and on lowbrow animated comedies like Family Guy and South Park. That's about the same as last year. In 2024, TV shows featured 66 such plotlines.

We might pal around with an oil company's president all day by following the life of Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton), but Landman's most engaging stories cover what happens when you run a business that reports zero days without an accident every single day. It's not just reenacting drilling explosions and gas leaksit's exploring the grief that comes with losing your loved ones on the job.
