Tuckerman Ravine is a popular but dangerous skiing destination, requiring caution and skill from participants.
Tuckerman Ravine on Mount Washington is about as legendary of a ski area as they come, being a bucket list item for many East Coast skiers and snowboarders. Its difficulty, usual less-than-ideal conditions, and more remote location mean that airs are fairly rare, but they do happen.
Talk about getting after it! One absolutely fearless skier has already laid down the first tracks of the season in Tuckerman Ravine, New Hampshire. As the video shows, it was rocky, icy, and pretty scratchy up top, but somehow he still linked a couple of dreamy powder turns halfway down before surviving the mandatory ice-bullets and mandatory East Coast applause.
