Underground DJs create Program Audio, a record label and zine, to support immigrant rights through music and community engagement.
Before the availability of the tape recorder and during the 1950s, when vinyl was scarce, ingenious Russians began recording banned bootleg jazz, boogie woogie and rock 'n' roll on exposed X-ray film salvaged from hospital waste bins and archives.
"AMB started out as just a collaboration and now it's a brand and a growing piece of California music culture," Chuuwee said, reflecting on the project’s evolution.
