Kia's EV3 subcompact electric SUV will debut in the US later this year, targeting a starting price of $35,000.
The packed crowd at Holocene on Sunday certainly enjoyed it, grooving and mesmerized, treated to a show that may very well be talked about for a long time. With a timeless, mystical blend of atmospheric soundscapes; driving, dark synth staccato melodies; snarling, bombastic industrial-strength guitars; monstrous drum beats; and powerful vocals that range from softly serene to fierce and animalistic, Chalk's music inhabits a unique space between worlds.
Lotteria, a portmanteau of Lotte (its parent company) and cafeteria, was founded in 1972 by South Korean businessman Shin Kyuk-ho; its first location opened the same year in Japan. In 1979, the restaurant expanded to South Korea for the first time. Today, the country is home to more than 1,300 locations. The Japanese and Korean arms of Lotteria are no longer related, and the locations in each country operate separately.
