Starbucks has closed its downtown San Jose shop at 150 S. First St., following the closure of another location at San Pedro Square a year prior.

The safety tool can improve case solvability, support suspect identification and enhance overall public safety outcomes.

"As the network continues to attract internet service providers, thousands of residents along the Eastern Sierra Nevada and millions more across the state will gain access to more options for reliable and affordable high-speed internet service."

Built in 1913, the building calls back to the city's early development, much like the commercial clusters just a block or few long that are nestled in so many neighborhoods.

The fire burned portions of the Camron-Stanford House, a three-story Victorian on the southern end of the lake. Firefighters were able to save the home, but preservationists have questions about how the fire started.

"I hadn't even seen the inside just like you, but I just felt like one person, DJ equipment, had to fit in there somehow. We knew it could be Pandora's box in there."

On a recent Saturday afternoon in downtown Mountain View, groups of people filled the outdoor seating at restaurants along Castro Street, dogs and their owners strolled the sidewalks and minutes after the Don't Eat Me storefront opened its doors, people shuffled inside. The pop-up shop recently opened in a previously vacant space on Castro Street, selling original artwork, stationary, clothing, accessories and home decor from Bay Area artists.
