Sal Frelick left the game with left side tightness, raising concerns about his availability for future matchups.
I think it was good. Came up, obviously a young guy, didn't really know what to expect. Obviously struggled at the start. Being in a new clubhouse, being around guys who had show time, kind of everything, playing against better competition. I think just getting up here, getting my feet wet, it made the transition coming into this year super easy, just because I'm pretty comfortable.
Cade Horton will head back to Chicago this weekend to get some imaging done, and this 'will be an IL stint.' Early talk has some optimism....Horton said it started in his wrist, then got tight in forearm, so he wanted to be proactive and not push it.
The Angels are coming off a split in Houston, and like the Nats they are not projected to be particularly good this year. In Saturday's loss, one of their relievers put up a fun 1 IP, 6 R, 0 ER line thanks to multiple errors and walks, and was rewarded by being shipped to the minors the next day.
