In a series of Weibo posts, Redmi has confirmed that the Turbo 5 will be powered by the Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset. It will be paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone will also get a 3D ice-sealed vapor chamber setup that is said to improve heat dissipation. Redmi has also revealed the display and battery details of the Turbo 5.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch flat LIPO OLED screen with extremely narrow symmetrical bezels, which will be even narrower than the ones the 17 Pro Max had. The display panel will go down to 1-nit brightness in ultra low light, and will support the BT.2020 color space.
