Even before I ever came to the U.S., I'd heard the legends of the White Rim Trail. It's not only an iconic mountain bike adventure, but also a route with a deep history of FKT attempts that I've followed throughout my career. It's incredibly special to see my name alongside, and ahead of, some amazing athletes. Next time, though, I'd like to slow things down a bit and take in the views.
I was drinking on the descent and misjudged a corner, Pidcock said in team statement. I overshot it and went down the ravine. It was like one of these horror crashes you see, but I'm very lucky that I am OK.
Pogacar made his decisive move just as he had done two years ago on the Monte Sante Marie gravel section. His UAE Team Emirates colleagues had put the hammer down heading into that section and once Pogacar attacked on a tough climb, he quickly distanced everyone else. Seixas was the rider who resisted the longest even briefly dragging back Pogacar before the world champion accelerated again and disappeared over the horizon for good.
SHREDLY's apparel has always stood out for its bold colors and patterns, and they're ramping it up for 2026. The brand says its 'our most expressive yet - a fun, earthy collection of prints and colorways inspired by the spirit of mountain biking.'
Hop on a plane to Malaga, and you might expect to see passengers in flip-flops and sun hats, ready to spend a week on a lounger with a cocktail to hand. But in recent years, a different kind of traveller has set their sights on the Costa del Sol. Instead of staying by the sea, they head inland, to cycle the mountains of Sierra Nevada.
Start with the tires and chain. Is your chain cleaned and lubed? Is the sealant in your tubeless tires good to go? If not, refresh both. Pop your bike in a stand like the Feedback Sports Pro Mechanic or Sport Mechanic 2.0, confirming that it's shifting correctly and brakes are functioning properly before embarking on any significant cycling journey.
The bibs continue to use Castelli's Espresso Doppio fabric, which is super soft and has a matte, non-shiny look. A solid 27% Lycra content provides form fitting, mild compression. Inside is their Progetto X2 Air Seamless seat pad, designed for long-distance riding comfort and with distinct men's and women's designs.
The bicycle itself is already an artwork on its own. Painting onto something that already existed was an interesting concept. It changes the way you see the object. These are not graphics or paint concepts. Rather, this is original art-ride it or display it on a wall!
South Korea doesn't immediately come to mind when you picture world-class singletrack, but with South Korea being mostly mountains, it makes sense that there would be plenty of mountain biking to uncover. When Giant Bicycles athlete Sascha Kim touched down in Seoul, he found himself connecting with a mountain bike scene bursting with life, a tight-knit community, and some seriously great trails.
For 2026, the Superior Peak ships in a mixed wheel configuration (29" front, 27.5" rear). This is what people have been asking for, and Ari has delivered. Riders who prefer a matched setup can still run a full 29" configuration front and rear. Paired with 200mm of travel and Ari's Tetra Link suspension platform.
Jonas Vingegaard crashed during training on Monday. Fortunately, he is OK and did not sustain any serious injuries, read a team statement. In general, as a team we would like to urge fans on bikes to always put safety first. For both your own and others' wellbeing, please allow riders to train and give them as much space and peace as possible.
Its time. After 8 years riding for Pivot Factory Racing the time has come for me to move on. What a ride it's been! Holy shit, I'll never be able to put into words how grateful I am for the opportunities that Pivot and BK have given me. But, It's time for me to hang up the boots after chasing World Cup racing full-time for the last 13 years . My heroes became friends and my friends became heroes. I'm proud of what we achieved, and to everyone who has been a part of the journey, thank you so much. Love you all and see you on the trails.
Beginning in 2026, Monster Energy will have a significant presence across all 14 rounds of the global series, with branding integrated both trackside and throughout broadcast coverage, alongside fan-focused activations at each venue. The partnership further solidifies Monster's role in top-level mountain biking, adding the World Series to a long list of action-sports properties the brand already supports from motocross, to skateboarding, snowboarding, and freeride mountain biking.
Sam Hill is a name that almost anyone my age would recognize. The 8-time World Downhill MTB champion and flat pedal enthusiast is an icon in the sport of mountain biking, and has ridden for some of the most legendary brands in the industry. From Specialized Bicycles to the late Iron Horse and the now revamped Nukeproof, Hill has always been a topic of conversation.
Big news for American DH racing. Five-time World Cup overall winner, Aaron Gwin, will join the Frameworks Racing / TRP team for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. Gwin brings 50 World Cup podium finishes, 20 of which were on the top spot, to the young Frameworks team. On the Frameworks DH sled, we're sure Gwin is poised for more. Gwin will compete in the DH World Cup Series, World Championships, Red Bull Hardline, and Pro Downhill Series.
One last Caleb Holonko edit - black and white, classic BC rain, slow pace, loud feelings. The kind of riding that feels like a memory while you're still watching it happen. This one's a little sentimental. A quiet goodbye to Chonks - not quite a decade with Kona, but somehow more than a lifetime all the same. From the 16-year-old kid who stopped us in our tracks to the grown-up professional super sender... you'll always be the Kona superfan rocking the mullet wig to us.
I had trained for a full year to complete a self-supported bicycle tour from San Diego to Las Cruces, New Mexico. It was meant to be the next-to-last chapter in my coast-to-coast cycling journey - one more long stretch of road before the final piece fell into place. Thirty-four miles into the ride, it was over. A microfiber towel caught in my derailleur. A fluke. One of those things you never plan for and still struggle to explain afterward.
