The museum, which displays Walthamstow's colourful cultural history - not to mention Britain's first ever petrol-fuelled car - closed for renovation in December 2023.

The show features pieces by participants in JASA's programs. The organization, which serves more than 40,000 older adults every year, offers art classes and creative workshops designed to bring people together while encouraging self-expression. At next month's event, you can expect talks from Liang-Jung Chen, a London-based artist interested in material culture as they work across several mediums. In 2014, Scottish artist Andy Scott made international headlines with the unveiling of his colossal dual horse-head sculptures, The Kelpies.
